Bashor Children’s Home is a mission driven organization passionately serving children and families. We are currently seeking a facilities maintenance worker for full-time employment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Routine building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing repair, painting, window repair.

• Drywall and roofing repairs

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs

• May need to work evenings and/or weekends

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

• Grounds keeping including lawn care, mowing, landscaping, snow removal.

• Vehicle care, maintenance, cleaning, basic servicing.

• Deliver food and household supplies to program units.

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 21 years of age.

• Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in the dynamics of child care facilities a benefit.

• Able to pass required background checks, physical and drug screen.

• Have a sensitivity and commitment to serving a culturally diverse population.

• Have a commitment to continuous quality improvement as it relates to organizational development and service delivery.
