Youth Care Worker (Second Shift)

Bashor Children's Home is seeking energetic, caring, and dedicated Youth Care Workers to support and guide troubled youth (ages 8-18) in a therapeutic setting. In this role, you will supervise and assist youth with their personal growth and safety, while promoting positive behavioral changes. Key Responsibilities
- Create a safe and supportive environment for youth
- Supervise and assist youth with their personal development and well-being
- Work with a team to create individualized care plans for each youth
- Help youth build life skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving abilities
- Lead group activities for social and personal growth
- Monitor and document youth behavior and progress
- Manage crisis situations and apply de-escalation techniques when needed
- Collaborate with staff and professionals to implement effective care plans
- Attend staff meetings and training to improve skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 or older
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Must pass background, physical exam, drug test, and TB test.
Schedule and Pay
Full-Time
- 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10 PM ($19.41)
PRN (as-needed)
- 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10 PM ($15.00)
Additional Info
- Weekend shifts earn an extra $3 per hour
- Full-time staff work rotating shifts (4 days on, 2 days off for 1st/2nd shifts)
- On-call duties and weekend work are required on a rotation
